Rainbow Railroad
This Pride season, TPG is offering you the chance to win 1 million Chase Ultimate Rewards points by supporting our campaign with Rainbow Railroad, an organization with a dedicated team of human rights defenders and advocates on the frontlines of the fight for global LGBTQIA+ rights. They help LGBTQIA+ people facing violence and oppression around the world get to safety, and their work could not be more important than it is right now.
Rainbow Railroad
Who are they?
Rainbow Railroad helps members of the LGBTQI community get out of dangerous environments and to a safe place that's far from state-enabled violence, persecution, and murder. In 2022, The Points Guy partnered with Chase Sapphire to create a Prizeo Campaign supporting Rainbow Railroad, raising over $140,000.
What impact has TPG made?
TPG has helped save over 125 LGBTQIA+ lives and donated/raised over 1 million dollars.
Peace Jam
Who are they?
PeaceJam is an award-winning international peace education program that provides year-round leadership training for motivated individuals aged 5-25.
What impact has TPG made?
Since 2016, TPG has sponsored PeaceJam youth conferences and programming in Guatemala, Ghana, Liberia and South Africa — impacting thousands of young lives.
Every year, The Points Guy team mentors youth alongside Nobel Peace Prize winners (like Jody Williams, Leymah Gbowee, Betty Williams, Kailash Satyarthi and Rigoberta Menchú) and participates in service projects and workshops with the young leaders.
In 2018, the TPG Global Impact Youth Fellowship was created to provide outstanding young changemakers the opportunity to advance their education and continue their mission for peace. As of 2022, we financially support and mentor 21 TPG Fellows from 4 countries: Liberia, Ghana, South Africa and Guatemala.
Miles4Migrants
Who are they?
Miles4Migrants uses frequent flyer miles, credit card points and cash to help people impacted by war, persecution or disaster start a new beginning in a new home.
What impact has TPG made?
We have raised over a dozen million miles for Afghanistan and Ukrainian refugees in the last year with the help of our sister company, Lonely Planet. These miles have helped transport over 1000 individuals.
