Norse Atlantic celebrates inaugural flights from Miami to Paris and Berlin with deals

Norwegian low-cost airline Norse Atlantic Airways launched two inaugural flights last week: one from Miami to Paris on Wednesday and one from Miami to Berlin on Thursday. To celebrate these new routes, the airline is offering discounted flights, with one-way journeys starting as low as $165.

Flights depart Miami International Airport (MIA) and arrive at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). Flights to Paris now operate up to four times a week, departing at 8 p.m. and arriving at 11 a.m. the following day. Flights from Miami to Berlin operate once a week, departing at 8 p.m. and arriving in Berlin at 11:15 a.m. the following day.

There are discounted one-way trips scattered throughout the early months of 2024. For example, you can find a $159 one-way flight from Miami to Paris for Feb. 4.

This price applies to Norse's Economy Light class only, which includes just one personal item. If you want to bring a carry-on bag, it'll cost anywhere from $35 to $85, while a checked bag will cost somewhere between $60 and $125.

Alternatively, you can upgrade from Economy Light to Economy Classic for almost $100 extra, and in return, you'll receive both a carry-on and checked bag as well as meal service during your flight.

There are also deals on round-trip journeys, though the return flights are a bit more expensive than the departing ones. For example, you can fly from Miami to Berlin for $152 one-way Jan. 18.

The return flight Jan. 26 is more expensive, at $243. However, a round-trip total of $395 to a popular European destination is still a good deal.
