Daisy Hernandez

Daisy joined TPG in 2023 but has been optimizing her credit card usage since late 2014. By maximizing how she earns cash back, points and other perks, she's been able to offset the costs of travel, dine in Michelin-rated restaurants and reduce how much she pays out of pocket for everyday basics such as groceries and gas. Originally from New York, Daisy lived in Honduras as a child before ultimately settling down in the northeastern U.S. She's passionate about creating content that's informative and actionable and is thrilled to share her skills and know-how with readers as she believes that financial literacy and travel should be accessible to everyone. She speaks Spanish and French and has previously worked as a freelancer, translator, writer and editor at startups, in higher education and at magazines including Popular Mechanics and Runner's World. When she's not browsing new card offers and ways to rack up points, she's planning her next trip.
